Kioa Delos Reyes – Director

Kioa is the founder and director of Lost Tribe Dance.  He will be in charge of the competitive teams at both locations in Idaho Falls and Rexburg.  He will teach most of the class at both locations.

Kioa started dancing at the age of 17.  Although he got a late start, he rapidly gained favor within his first year of dance by joining a hip hop academy, teaching workshops at BYU-Idaho, and opening for the Jabbawockeez and Super Cr3w (Both winners of Americas Best Dance Crew season one and two).  Being a freestyle dancer first, he was able to create content and learn multiple styles before getting into the choreography scene.

He has also trained in other styles of dance including Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, World, and Polynesian styles.  He has become very well rounded which has helped him create award winning hip hop choreography.  He participated and created multiple college age hip hop crews that have won multiple events and have opened up for the likes of big names like The Beach Boys, Jabbawockeez, and Super Cr3w.

When dance isn’t life he likes to spend time with his family (wife and two daughters) and playing sports like Volleyball, Soccer, and Rugby.

David Johnson – Instructor

David will serve as one of the instructors at the Rexburg location.  He will be in charge of the breaking class in Rexburg.  He will also serve as a sub for other classes at both locations.  He will also lead the Flight Squad crew which is the college age break crew in Rexburg.

David grew up in Utah and started dancing later in his teen years after being made a fool at a church dance.  Having been a part of many performances at BYU-Idaho and battles, he has made a name for himself both in the South East Idaho area and in Utah.  He has been dancing for 5 years and has made it far in different bboy battles.

Mallory Bledsoe – Instructor

Mallory has been dancing since the age of 10 and has taught/choreographed for four years. She has trained in multiple styles of Hip Hop, Ballroom, and Contemporary. She performed and competed with different teams throughout high school and Utah Valley University’s college Hip Hop crew Mosaic.

In her years of dancing, she has won national titles, participated in auditions for World of Dance and America’s Got Talent, where they filmed an opening segment for SLC. Mallory loves teaching and creating;  she doesn’t want to simply teach a class; she wants to help her students learn, grow, succeed, and develop their love of dance.

Jordan Nestman – Instructor

Jordan has been dancing for a little over 6 years and it started with a middle school ballroom team. After that he joined a group/class at his high school that focused on the choreography of musicals and the choreographers. Jordan did some choreography for the high school musical and some for the class he joined.

In college at BYU-I he has participated in Extravadance for the past 3 years. Today he has been at Lost Tribe for over a year dancing with the college crew and has been teaching in the boys program for 5 months. Popping is the style of which he does the most and he would consider himself a freestyle dancer.
