Our girls and boys 1 classes will work on creative movement, beginning foundations, and classroom etiquette. They will learn to understand rhythm to different types of songs, learn how to not only move in a standing position but also across the floor, and they will learn how to respect their instructor, classmates, and themselves. These classes are 40 mins long to allow set up in between of classes. These classes are considered recreational and they meet once a week and participate in our studio shows twice a year.
Girls 2 and Boys 2 Classes (ages 8y-12y)
Our girls and boys 2 classes will work on the some foundations of hip hop dance, explore freestyle, and team etiquette. They will learn a few different styles of hip hop dance, explore what our personal bodies are capable of, and how to work as a team and within a team. These classes are 55 mins long to allow set up in between of classes. These classes are considered recreational and they meet once a week and participate in our studio shows twice a year.
Hip Hop 3 (ages 13y-18y)
Our Hip Hop 3 class will work on the foundations of hip hop dance, freestyle, and crew etiquette. They will work on the foundations of hip hop dance, work on their personal freestyle, and find out the benefits of working within a hip hop dance crew. These classes are 55 mins long to allow set up in between of classes. These classes are considered recreational and they meet once a week and participate in our studio shows twice a year.
The Pride Crew and the Lost Boys Crew (ages 10y-12y)
Our younger crews are split up by gender to help them still feel comfortable dancing but within a team aspect. They will learn how to operate as one unit while growing on a personal level. They will perform in company pieces at studio shows and at halftime performances. They will compete locally 2-3 times a year and rehearse for a longer period of time once a week.
Rogue Nation Crew (7th & 8th Graders)
Our Rogue Nation Crew is a hybrid crew that will spend some time alone as a crew and with our older Crew, Snow Pack Crew. This is a great way for our dancers to catch up to the speed of our Snow Pack Crew while still developing at a personal level. They will spend 30 mins each week together with the Snow Pack Crew to start making some connections and to see how the Snow Pack Crew works. As a crew they will work with our director Kioa Delos Reyes and compete in both local and out of state competitions. They will participate in our studio shows and all outside performances. They rehearse twice a week at 2.5 hours a week.
Snow Pack Crew (High School Age)
Our Snow Pack Crew represents our studio at every opportunity possible. They compete within our state and at out of state competitions. We compete on a national level every year representing our studio, Rexburg, and most importantly the state of Idaho. They work on different styles of hip hop dance, choreography, freestyle, battling, creating choreography and so much more. They perform multiple pieces at our studio shows, halftime performances, assemblies, and other community events. They are directed by our studio director Kioa Delos Reyes. They rehearse twice a week at four hours a week.
Delta Force Crew (High School Age)
Our Delta Force Crew is our elite members of our Snow Pack Crew. Consisting of 9 dancers, they compete nationally representing Lost Tribe Dance and the Snow Pack Crew. The learn and move at a faster level in both team activities and in personal development. They also work on their own pieces separate from the Snow Pack Crew. They are also directed by our studio director Kioa Delos Reyes. They rehearse once a week at a faster pace.
